Enjoy traditional Chinese food in Taiwan

There are various kinds of cuisine that you can enjoy in Taiwan. Taiwanese cuisine itself has the influences from mid to southern provinces of China, most remarkably from the province of Fujian. Taiwan cuisine has also the impacts of Japanese style of cooking. Tourists can enjoy traditional Chinese food in Taiwan, alongside Fujian and Hakka-style as well as native Taiwanese dishes.

Pork, rice, soy are the most common ingredients found in Taiwanese cuisines. Beef is far less common. Seafood too forms an important portion of Taiwanese food which comprises of different things varying from large fish such as tuna and grouper, to sardines and even smaller fish such as anchovies. Seafood in Taiwan also comprises of crustaceans, squid, and cuttlefish are also eaten.
